In 2019, Dr. Kumar represented the organization at the 20th International Leprosy Congress held at Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Manila, Philippines from September 11-13, 2019. In addition to pursuing academic work, Dr. Kumar has worked as a consultant with a variety of philanthropic trusts and institutions on strategy and impact in the areas of health especially mental health, research studies, rehabilitation, disaster management, and child rights.
